having a good look around
Who: Medivh and OPEN!
When: 9/11-12
Where: Here and there.. everywhere.. it's a bird.. etc (name your place essentially)
What: The archmage finally comes out of hiding
Warnings: He's a certain kind of special. Also possessed. Be patient with him? No, wait, don't do that.
Around
None of it made much sense, but then Medivh had only just arrived from another place where things didn't make much sense either which only left his mind consumed with bits and pieces of what he remembered happening back in Azeroth with this place; a place that was unlike any realm he had ever been to, or known about.
The locations around town were of no interest to the archmage, only getting back to the place where he was needed the most and in thinking about it, there was a dire sense of urgency to do so as soon as possible. But there was also something that appealed to him there in Theia.
Making sure that Atiesh was safely stored where no one would find it, Medivh took to his raven form for awhile, appearing as himself again for short times before disappearing once more into seemingly thin air.
House #1002
Though it took a few days to finally go to the house, Medivh finally did. With it seeming like no one was home, he took his time moving through the rooms quietly on the large main floor. The kitchen and bathroom proved to be the most interesting, and yet confusing. But eventually he opened the door to his room and closed the door.
Suffice it to say, the Guardian wasn't close to approving of these kinds of living conditions.
But later on he emerged again due to a certain King's presence within the home. When Llane chose to leave the comfort of his room, Medivh would be standing there waiting.
When it came to late evening, when most were asleep, the archmage stood outside, barefoot and without his hooded robe. He stood there contemplating a moment before he stepped slowly in a circle with a hand extended outwards to "draw" a brilliant white blue light around him that illuminated into nearby windows.

[ around ]
There was only one man beyond him who could do do such a change, a gift from Atiesh he had learnt much later, and finding another... well, it implied a mage who may be from his own world – maybe the future – if Varian coming from the past was any indication of how much this world cared about the laws of time.
Medivh would find a raven following along with him, a careful distance behind him and would stop to perch itself upon any ledge it could find to watch. Though more than once it may try to engage the other in some playful swoops.

And disappeared.
If the other bird spent any time looking for the raven he'd been trailing, it wouldn't take Khadgar long before Medivh appeared out of nowhere in front of him, hand up with a pale blue orb of magic turning in front of it. When he speaks his voice is even, not unkindly, but firm in asking his question.
"Who are you?"
no subject
The bird remained still for a few seconds as he regards the mage carefully, but with an echoing thump and a swirl of smoke, Khadgar stood where the raven once had and leaned heavily on the staff.
"I am Khadgar, Archmage of the Kirin Tor."
no subject
His face did not show any kind of reaction, but his eyes brightened with the same arcane energy that he held in his hand that also grew in intensity; evidence that he wasn't going to take much more of this.
"I know Khadgar and you are not him. I will ask you again - who are you?"
How he knew that name was beyond him but this man was not the same young man he was teaching. No matter how indirect Medivh was doing it.
no subject
The man's words rang in his head as he did it. He didn't know the man who claimed to know him and his instant reaction was to throw back that he was most definitely Khadgar, he had the records claiming as such in a book in his quarters in Dalaran. Sadly, he didn't have access to said book, so proving such a thing was not going to happen at all. He took to eyeing the other, gauging by the way he held himself if he were to be able to lower the shield.
No, it didn't look like it.
“I can assure you, I am indeed Khadgar. Perhaps you know someone of the same name?”
Most likely issue, though how many mages name Khadgar were there? That left him slightly soured, though the idea of someone naming their child after him... well there was a bit of honor to that, now wasn't he?
House
"What is that?" He asked curiously. He hadn't had a chance to socialize with his roommates, which was more out of obstinance for where he was than a desire to be rude. They were stuck here, just as he was.
Now that i'm off hiatus-ish, house;
It's not his fault that Elves enjoy saying three words when one will suffice.
Still, the fact remains: sleeping is last on the list of things to do midday, and even though it was just because he was reading in his room, a nap is at least an hour's wasted time.
...Or 15, but if Llane admonishes himself for a longer period of time the likelihood of him not doing it again is high. He closes the book with a hardy thunk, sets it aside and decides he may as well have some water--strange, how he has no servants to do it for him, but not unwelcome--but when he opens the door, drink is forgotten.
Llane has never felt a smile creep up his face soo quickly before.
"Medivh."
