"Of course I didn't do it," Kara says, narrowing her eyes. She takes a deep breath to calm herself and smells blood. There's a buzzing of flies that's worrying with her hearing too, steadily growing louder the more time passes.

"Well, we need to figure out who did," she says. There's no one here, aside from obvious prisoners, and Kara doesn't even want to begin to question the eggs. She has her own, clutched in her arms. Evidence collected. Rao's name, she wishes she had Alex and Alex's lab here to analyze this thing.

But she'd never want Alex to see stuff like this.

"I think I'm going to go back to that house - the one with the elevator. I'll get some answers that way, I hope."
